Summary

We've all seen the real time strategy games that focus on building civilisations in times past. But how far are you willing to go to play God? B.C. Kings takes a new direction on the ye olde strategy sim by... going even further back in time. About as far back as you can go without finding humanity scrabbling around on all fours, in fact.

10,000 years ago, in the time of cavemen to be specific. You get to prove your worth as a war leader as you command your Captain Cavemen army to venture out and solve the biggest mysteries of all time. What's Stonehenge all about? Is the Yeti real? Advance your species' knowledge and climb the evolutionary ladder.

As you overcome strategic problems by gathering resources, training your armies and defeating enemy forces, you are presented with several adventure and role-playing elements as well. All of these factors need to be taken into account to become the greatest war lord of the neanderthals.

The game combines a contemporary art style and 3D graphics with a classic top-down interface and moments that are true to the RTS genre. The story-driven campaign allows you to create 63 different units for your army, 32 unique buildings for your settlers to occupy, plenty of magic spells and over 80 technologies to research and discover.
