Summary

Aliens in the Attic is Fox Pictures updating of Gremlins - a feature film starring troublesome, but cute, invaders that are fought off by the adolescent element of the community. This time the community in question is the Pearson family, and the kids have to defend their dream home, and the universe, from alien invasion without their parents finding out. Like most movies aimed at a teen audience these days, the film comes with an associated video game, and this is it.

While Wii owners play as the aliens, DS owners get to play as the Pearson kids. Using Hanna's jump skill, Tom's engineering abilities and Jake's weapons knowledge you must rid the planet (and the attic) from the knee high invaders, before they activate the Sizematron, and transform into something altogether more terrifying. The game has five beautifully designed gameplay areas, from the roof down to the basement, through which you must adventure and puzzle your way. Stopping occasionally for epic boss fights, for which you can use a variety of weapons including grenades and a customizable gun.

The aliens might be short on the height front, but they're not short on providing a real challenge for you to test your planet saving skills against!
