After so many years and countless wars, you'd think the Global Defense Initiative and the Brotherhood of Nod would get along one of these days. Well, proving that hell does get a bit chilly sometimes, the classic Command & Conquer gets some closure as both factions struggle to survive. And it's not because they're killing each other – ironically, it's because of all that Tiberium they've both been fighting for.

Yes, the alien crystal that has been the centre of Earth conflict for decades is sucking the life out of the planet, making it uninhabitable for mankind. At the eleventh hour, Nod leader Kane proposes a system to the GDI opposition that could control the Tiberium and save humanity. But the Brotherhood cannot build the Tiberium Control Network alone, and so the two armies agree to fight side by side in order to survive.

Fast forward 15 years, and the system is nearly finished, but as humanity begins to prosper once more, questions start arising as to the motive of Kane's help. The answer leads to the events you get to play out in Tiberian Twilight, using a mixture of classic gameplay and new features, including a mobile base that can be moved around the map to control each outpost more directly.

Adding to this new twist in the series is a three-class system for each faction, that allows you to switch tactics mid-match and alter the kinds of buildings and infantry you can create. Co-op play and a 5v5 objective-based multiplayer means that Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight is just as much about teamwork as it is about combat.
