Summary

That world, it's always in need of a save, eh? Such is the case in Dawn of Magic 2, the follow up from Dawn of Magic winging its way to your PC courtesy of Sky Fallen.

The action picks up ten years after the destruction of the Undead Modo. That should have been the end of his dark influence, but his minions have returned seeking revenge. The delicate balance of power has been shattered and the shadow legions are engulfing the world in pain and suffering.

Stopping them falls to you. Dawn of Magic 2 is an action RPG, and you'll need to use your magic skills and your blade to beat back the evil hordes and journey through the labyrinth of worlds to end the chaos.

The game features a finely honed magic system, based around 12 different schools, that gives you 100 different spells to combine. The number 12 keeps popping up, actually – you'll find 12 nefarious bosses to do away with.

While Dawn of Magic characters are carried across, dozens more have been thrown into the mix, with loads of spoken dialogue bandied about between them set to 16 new music tracks. The graphics engine has been overhauled, so expect improved graphics over the series' last outing, so all your mystical mates (and enemies) will be looking their best.
