Summary

The Star Wars universe is extensive, with six movies and a host of games, and TV series to add depth to the characters and their back-stories. The Clone Wars Republic Heroes is set in after the Occupation of Ryloth and bridges seasons one and two of the Clone Wars animated TV series, which ran from 2003 to 2005.

Players can choose to take the role of either a Jedi Warrior or a Clone Trooper, selecting one of their favourite Star Wars characters, including Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Ahsoka Tano, and Kit Fisto or Commander Cody, Captain Rex, Sergeant Kano or Private Switch. Then, using the controls which have been designed for ease of use and accessibility to defeat the mysterious bounty hunter Cad Bane, and the super villain Kul Teska and restore peace to the galaxy. The game features co-operative multi-player gaming, but while playing co-operatively, you can still compete with your companion on in-level challenges that reward you with points that can be used to upgrade your character and unlock bonus items.

The game is a third person action game. Playing as a Jedi you use your skill and agility to perform amazing leaps through an interactive level, as you slice and dice your way through Separatist droids with your lightsaber and the Force. Or, rather than destroy enemy droids, you can commandeer them, and use their abilities to help you complete the level by blasting enemies and solving puzzles. As a Clone Trooper, you have access to heavy weapons such as rocket launchers and thermal detonators.
