Summary

Don't you just love a game that doesn't pull any punches? Metaphorically, that is – for a wrestling game like TNA Impact: Cross The Line, you wouldn't get much of an experience if there were no punches.

Rather than stage you as the latest challenger in a new wrestling season, Cross The Line does something rather unique and masks the career mode with a storyline that's just so off-the-wall that it sounds legendary.

Your journey to TNA stardom begins as a once big-time star that's been left for dead in a strange land. With no recollection of who you are and what you do, you aim to get back to American soil. The only way back is by winning a local wrestling tournament – when you enter however, your instincts as a grappling superstar come back to you.

There are multiple game modes to get stuck into, including the Full Metal Mayhem weapons match and the Super X Cup that challenges you to a 16-player tournament. The Gauntlet mode pits your character against 25 different wrestling superstars, and if you want to take the fight to another player, there's one-on-one ad-hoc play as well.

Get used to the simple-yet-effective controls - which range from punches, grapples, kicks and kick-outs – and tackle TNA luminaries such as AJ, Joe, Booker T and Rhino to get back to the top of your game.
