Summary

In the world of Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, you play Cornet, a girl endowed with the peculiar power to talk to puppets. One day, Cornet and her puppet friend Kururu are attacked by the minions of the evil witch Marjoly. Neatly avoiding cutting the story short, Cornet and Kururu are rescued by Ferdinand, the dashing prince of the Marl Kingdom.

Who would have guessed? Cornet has found her perfect prince! But the wicked witch hasn't finished dishing out her dastardliness, and nabs the charming prince and turns him to stone. Now Cornet must set out on an adventure all across Marl Kingdom to track down the mean-spirited sorceress and rescue her beloved prince.

Combining magic, puppets, monsters and melody, Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure delivers a light-hearted role playing game that, due to its musical outbursts, cuts itself an interesting niche in the RPG genre.

Essentially a remake of the almost decade-old original on PlayStation, the DS version features a raft of additions and enhancements: a 2D point of view better suited to the handheld's screen, the ability to take control of Kururu, the Melody Square mini-game and a new turn-based battle system.
