It seems like everywhere you look there's a new Sims game popping out of the woodwork. Nintendo platforms, with their family-friendly style and immediate accessibility, seem to become the destination of choice for the titles.
The latest is MySims Party. The game keeps the style and ease of entry that characterises the Sims franchise but jettisons many of the familiar tenets of the series such as customisation and building relationships to make way for a selection of party games that spans a variety of genres.
Each game is hosted by a unique MySim. With different MySims, you'll also find different skill sets, meaning that the different levels of endurance, speed and luck will make you want to choose the right character for each challenge.
Once you've picked, you might be trying to nail the sickest tricks in a snowboarding game, blasting skulls out of the air in a haunted house, shifting walkway tiles to stop anyone falling to their oblivion or even outrunning a robot in Robo Assault.
Rest assured, with 50 mini games to choose from, there's sure to be something for everyone.
