Summary
Zoo Tycoon 2 and all its expansion packs come together in Autumn 2008 in the ingeniously-named Zoo Tycoon 2: Ultimate Collection. That means over 100 animals, including the ones from Extinct Animals, Endangered Species, Marine Mania and African Adventure.
In Zoo Tycoon 2, enhanced building options and management choices allow players of all ages and skill levels to be creative in building and managing habitats and zoo attractions so that guests are happier and animals are more entertaining.
In the Endangered Species add-on, players take care of some of the world's rarest animals while doing their part to bring these unique species back from the brink of extinction. Koala? Check. Oryx? Oh yes, they're all here.
Going on safari takes on a whole new meaning with Zoo Tycoon 2: African Adventure, where gamers of all ages will experience first-hand the bio-diversity of the African continent and the animals that live there. Mandrills, Ratels and the delightful Secretary bird are just some of the exotic creatures you might espy from the safety of your open top Jeep.
Marine Mania introduces 20 new marine animals into the Zoo Tycoon 2 experience, including green sea turtles, black tip reef sharks and West Indian manatees. Watch an orca breach the surface of its tank, while dolphins teach each other new tricks. In addition to building new captivating tanks, gamers can also customise their own aquatic shows, teaching animals to entertain zoo guests and increase their zoo ratings.
Finally, the Extinct Animals add-on lets gamers bring animals that once roamed the Earth back to life. With new challenges and more than 30 new animals, players can create environments the creatures once lived in and learn about times that date back to the Ice Age.
