Buffy, while alive and kicking in the world of comics, has been distressingly absent from our screens for a number of years. Thanks to 505 Games, she is back on the small screen. The really small screen.
Yes, Buffy comes to the DS in Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Sacrifice. As is her wont, she is kicking bottom in general and sticking bits of wood into vampires quite specifically. Playing as Buffy, users make the most of some awesome martial arts skills, special weapons and the odd magic spell to do battle with the hordes of evil, staking vamps and vanquishing demons.
There are 24 levels to fight through, with 12 different bosses and sub-bosses to go up against - including none other than the First Evil, the Big Bad of Big Bads. The First is not the only recognisable face from the Buffy gang who will be making an appearance. Expect to see Spike, Angel, the Master and, naturally, the Scooby Gang.
If you find that you need to change things up a bit, you will be able to tackle 'Challenge Mode' from a first-person point of view for fast-paced action and maximum difficulty. You will also find puzzle missions to solve in order to open up new areas beyond the 12 different environments you will need to tackle.
