Summary
The original Subbuteo tabletop football game has been faithfully recreated on the Nintendo DS. Quite how the 'flick to kick' action converts to a handheld console…well…have a guess!
Use the DS stylus to set the player position, pass, shoot, defend and attack by using the finger-flick icon on the screen. You can choose the angle and the power of the kick just like the real thing. You can also watch real-time feedback on all the match action with fouls, goals, and even those all-important acrobatic shots.
There's a Tutorial mode which provides all the essential information on learning the basics along with the official Subbuteo rules, fully customisable tournaments and leagues, and a game editor where you can create new teams and change player names and colours.
