Summary

Don King's not just some crazy guy with funky hair and an over the top personality. Oh no. Did you know that he's a boxing promoter too? If you didn't, you probably also didn't know that he's muscled into the world of video games with Don King Presents: Prize Fighter.

Don King Prize Fighter Boxing presents the life and times of your custom-made boxer as he battles through the ranks in a quest to become the best.

This is a boxing game for the Wii, so you've probably got an idea of what to expect. Yup, that's right - take the Wii Remote in one hand and the Nunchuck in the other to experience the sweet science as the real boxers do - minus the pounding of fists into your body!

What you might not have been expecting is Balance Board support. If you've got one tucked away in the cupboard, pull it out and stick it in front of the telly, because shifting your weight up and down its length will allow you to duck and weave in-game.

You also can't expect to just step into the ring as an ace bruiser. You'll need to get stuck into a spot of training. The classics, such as nailing a speed bag, the regular punch bag, and the choice of girls in the playground everywhere - the skipping rope - are all present and accounted for, depending on a rhythm game-type mechanic to get you into shape.

All that and you're still going to have to get into the ring for some to dish out some serious punishment and take your hits like a man!
