There's rumoured to be a lost city made entirely out of gold, don'tcha' know? El Dorado is its name. It's been the end goal of many an adventurer, but thus far, it eludes discovery. We say 'thus far', because one game from Capcom looks to bring El Dorado's time of mystery to an end.
Okay, so it actually did come to an end all the way back in 1995 when it was first released on the SNES in Japan. Now, however, Capcom seeks to end it again with the release of Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer on the DS.
Shiren will have to complete a long and suitably perilous journey if they want to reach the Land of the Golden Condor, where El Dorado is rumoured to be located. Undead warriors? You'll have to make them more dead. Fire-breathing dragons? You'll have to make them... just dead.
Gameplay rolls out in a traditional, turn-based manner in randomly generated dungeons that will provide oodles of replayability. Players will need to deploy advanced tactics and puzzle-solving skills if they want to make it through the caves, forests and mountain passes that pepper the way to the city of gold.
