Summary

Brain Assist is Sega's entry into the crowded market that is the handheld brain trainer. It's available in mainland Europe already - under the name Denksport Center - and has been a great success.

In Single Game Mode, you are free to train in any of the 10 stages in Brain Assist. The ten stages are: Pi and Thagoras, Character Hunt, Spot the Difference, Touch of Brilliance, Twirling Cards, Count Mania, Match Game, Hexagonal Colours, Quick Numbers and Scattered Memory. There's something for everyone there, we reckon, with memory, analysis, deduction and concentration all covered. Simply touch one of the panels on the stage selection screen to begin. If your performance is of a high standard, a lady called Eva will interrupt your game and make it more challenging. The good news is, if you can rise to her challenge, you benefit from bonus points. The results screen will be displayed when the stage has been completed.

Evaluation Mode has two types of course each comprised of four preset stages (from the categories mentioned above). This mode provides a more detailed and consistent evaluation of your right brain. The Multiplayer Mode enables you to start a competitive game for up to four players. Budding brainboxes play through four stages to see who has the more mature right brain.
