Action Girlz Racing - Wii

The Action Girlz are here, so grab your lipstick, start your engines and get ready to race. The sleeve claims that this is the only racing game designed by girls, for girls, and who are you to argue? It certainly has a lot of 'girly' charm, shall we say. There are eight pastel shade-loving girlz to choose from, each brimming with attitude and style.

Up to four players can take part in Action Girlz Racing in a split-screen frenzy of speed, at night or during the day. Game modes include Single Race, Time Trial and Championship, the latter being the real heart of Action Girlz Racing. Once you choose a character in Championship mode, you can pick from one of three cups to race in. Only two cups are available from the outset, but more become available as you progress. There are plenty of pick-ups and power-ups available too. Flowers can be collected to unlock extra characters; they can also be taken away from your collection if you're hit by an opponent's weapon. Weapons pick-ups are found scattered throughout the levels, and you can collect to receive random items that will help you against your opponents, such as temporary invincibility and banana skins to send the opposition off course. more
