Released for the first time in 1991 for the Amiga, Another World is one of those titles that can truly be deemed a classic. The 2D vector graphics caught the imagination of many a player, and this process - considered as avant-garde in the early 1990s - reveals its strength in this new edition celebrating 15 years of flick-screen adventuring. The animations are now presented in high resolution on enhanced backgrounds.
Sent tumbling through time and space by a nuclear experiment gone awry, you'll need to dodge, outwit and overcome the host of alien monsters and deadly earthquakes that plague the alien landscape you now call home. Only a blend of logic and skill will help you get past the many obstacles that lie in wait.
Over two year's of development for this hi-res PC port has resulted in a highly playable and faithful (after all, nothing has been changed from the original) trip down memory lane. It's a nice place to visit but you wouldn't want to live here
