Summary

IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 is a bumper flight sim package that includes Pacific Fighters, The Forgotten Battles and the Ace Expansion Pack. There's also a DVD bonus, with 'making of' videos among other features.

IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 is host to 32 new flyable and four new AI planes, nearly 1,000 paint-schemes, over a hundred new ground objects, and nearly 200 new campaign missions. For the first time in PC flight sim history, you can fly remarkable jet and rocket aircraft, such as MiG-9, Ar-234, Ta-183 and 15 more, thanks to the alternate history campaigns. There's a free worldwide server, offering an exhilarating multiplayer experience for up to 128 players.

Seven years of development has gone into IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946, says Oleg Maddox, the genius behind the Sturmovik series: if that doesn't persuade you to take the plunge into this deep, deep simulation, then what does it take?
