Summary
Lock On Gold (LOG) is the only modern day flight simulation game to combine high fidelity with a broad choice of aircraft. There are many action-packed missions, realistic flight modelling and flexible game options that provide unlimited game play action to both novice and experienced flight simulation fans. LOG also has a mixture of high-powered aircraft and various fighting styles that make for a realistic flight simulation featuring some of the most advanced military aircraft known to man.
Fans of Lock On: Modern Air Combat from 2003 will be glad to know that this updated version has many improvements, including the Su-25T, which is a new Russian aircraft, and the Flaming Cliffs campaign. There are 20+ mission campaigns for gamers to get their teeth into. For novice simulation fans, there are training missions with voice-over instruction to help improve your skills.
Graphically, LOG has improved ground texture with much greater detail than its predecessor. There are also new textures for winter, spring, summer and autumn. The aircrafts have new skins and appear more realistic. LOG offers upgrades and feature additions to version 1.02 of Lock On: Modern Air Combat.
