Summary
A second outing for the tactical version of the Dynasty Warriors franchise, Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires is again set in the legendary Three Kingdoms - Wei, Wu and Shu.
The game follows the familiar path walked by previous titles in the series, as players attempt to master a supreme arsenal of new weapons and attacks including 'Musou Rage' and the amazing nine hit Evolution Combos.
Players have total control over their kingdom, where they can issue direct orders to each officer or signal general commands to officers on the field. It is up to the player to decide when to issue orders for their army to take the offensive, defend their ground, or have all officers gather for an ambush.
There is also the option to choose which officers should form an attack force, entice captives into joining the kingdom's service and even expel officers from the kingdom. Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires also offers players greater authority over Diplomacy, Government, Product Development and Battle Tactics with the game's 25 new policies for a total of 75 in all.
