Summary

Aeon Flux is an action game based on Peter Chung's popular MTV Liquid Television animated series and the feature film starring hot silver screen babe Charlize Theron. You may remember having seen a poster for the movie and nearly crashing your car.

The game’s storyline is very close to that of both the animated series and the movie. The independent episodes in the game effectively bridge the storyline of the animated series to the feature film. It’s a futuristic sci-fi thriller set 400 years in the future, in which you play the role of Aeon Flux, a top underground operative at war with the totalitarian regime governing what appears to be a perfect society. But is this perfect life hiding a perfect lie?

Aeon, it soon transpires, is on the frontline of a rebellion that will reveal a world of secrets. The game features the dulcet tones of Charlize Theron as well as her character likeness and the developers have certainly got all the curves in the right place.

One of the coolest features is the ability to slow down time using 'Flux', which helps you to aim at enemies with precision. You can also link together acrobatic stunts and manoeuvres for some pretty awesome and devastating attacks.

As with any good sci-fi story, there are plenty of cool gadgets and gizmos to find along the way, which help you solve some of the puzzle elements in the game. There’s also a load of fearsomely destructive futuristic weaponry at Aeon’s disposal.
