Summary

Tortuga: Two Treasures is the long-awaited sequel to Tortuga: Pirates of the New World from way back in 2003. Two Treasures sends players to the sun-drenched Caribbean of the early 1700's. The game offers piratical entertainment on a large scale, with exploration and combat at sea, on land and on the deck of the ship.

Much like the original Tortuga, you begin with a small supply of essentials - a ship and a small amount of cash. As any pirate knows, you will not get too far with a weedy ship and just a handful of coins. To get more money and bigger ships, you have to put those pirate skills to use. Raiding other ships is the order of the day, of course.

Players assume the role of Thomas 'Hawk' Blythe and ultimately go up against the biggest name in piracy, Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard, in a tale filled with challenges a-plenty. Acquisition of ships and funds is just one facet of the game: special moves and skills are also available to those who apply themselves fully, therefore making Two Treasures a deeper, more satisfying game experience.
