Taiketsu invites you to battle as Goku, Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo, Android 16, Android 18, Cell, Frieza, Vegeta, Broly, Buu, Nappa, Gotenks, Raditz and Trunks, and let's you choose from a variety of melee and enery attacks. Learn high-powered combo moves and charge up to execute Super Moves. For a break in the battle, enter Sky Battle mode and button bash your way to victory. Play against the machine, or match wits with a friend via link cable.

Dragon Ball Z Taiketsu features single-player and multi-player fighting modes, including Tournament, Endurance, Time Challenge, Sparring and Versus modes. There are additional secret modes that can be unlocked only after earning the required Z Points. These points earn character portraits, biographies, music for the jukebox, special bonus settings and more. You accumulate Z Points by fighting your way to the top of the Dragon Ball Z tree. With special moves and combos for each individual character, there's a lot to do in Taiketsu, and a guaranteed hit for Bandai and Atari.
