Now famous for its outings with Shrek, TDK has become much more prolific in the industry over the past year or two, and the Shrek series is set to continue with the release of Reekin Havoc for Game Boy Advance.
One of his many handheld offerings, the arrogant but lovable Ogre and Princess Fiona are again placed under pressure when the ghost of Lord Farquaad casts an evil spell upon his fairy friends. You know what has to be done - get moving!
As a game, Reekin Havoc is essentially a combination of several playing styles. Its an adventure game, but there are also elements of exploring, platforming and even combat. Players will assume control of both Fiona and Shrek throughout the adventure in what proves to be an old school, multi-tiered gaming experience. Your journey will have you wandering corridors, climbing ladders, looking for keys and solving the games myriad puzzles. Youll make use of Shreks brute strength in some sections, while as Fiona youll use your ninja-like abilities to progress through the game. Its classic gameplay in the palm of your hand.
Reekin Havoc isnt visually outstanding, but it looks okay and doesnt detract from the fact that its a great handheld game. Kids will love it.
