Graphics aside, the real realism is demonstrated in flight physics. There are a number of World War 2 planes to fly, including the Supermarine Spitfire Mark 1, and each and every craft has its own unique handling attributes, which must be learnt to get the most out of your flight experience.

To help reach the needs of every individual player, you are given the option to create and customise your very own plane. As long as you keep within the specified prices and weight limits, you can choose frames, engines, and even personalise your plane’s paint scheme.
Crimson Skies combines the heart-pumping action of air combat with the swashbuckling feel of an Errol Flynn adventure movie. As the handsome and daring air pirate Nathan Zachary, you must take to skies filled with treacherous privateers, tricked-out fighter planes and giant aircraft-carrier zeppelins. Amidst an ever-changing political landscape, Zachary and his notorious band of air pirates, the Fortune Hunters, have become the free agents in a fight for control of the skies.
