Summary

Continuing its efforts to bring popular game compilations to the market, Empire Interactive has released its first racing game collection, boasting six popular PC games from the past couple of years. Here’s what you can expect:

Total Immersion Racing
The main focus of Total Immersion Racing is the career mode, in similar vein to that of the legendary Gran Turismo, which casts players as a rookie race driver and starts them off at the bottom of the rankings. From here, the player can choose a career path that leads from being the lowest ranked driver of a GT sports car all the way to becoming a world champion driving a massively powerful eight litre prototype. On the way, team engineers and managers are on hand, giving advice and input to guide the player. An all-round accessible racing title.

Supercar Street Challenge
In Supercar Street Challenge, players can design, build and race their own dream machine in no-holds-barred races through 16 courses set in eight fully interactive city environments including Monaco, Rome and Los Angeles. Supercar Street Challenge features real-time car damage and deformation that affects handling, as well as a state-of-the-art racing game engine that includes advanced AI, amazing handling, realistic driving physics and high-resolution graphics.

Motocross Madness
Motocross Madness is an off-road motocross racing game with all the thrills and spills of true Supercross competitions. Inspired by the finest motocross riders in the world, Motocross Madness offers new levels of visual quality, control, and most of all, fun!

From the wide open deserts and stunt quarries, to the huge outdoor Nationals tracks, to the tortuous indoor Supercross tracks, Motocross Madness will challenge you on over 35 different tracks and events.

Sega Rally 2
A true arcade racing conversion, Sega Rally 2 for PC pits players in one of Sega’s greatest rally games yet. To begin with, there’s Arcade Mode, challenging players to tackle four races in a bid to make first place. Time Attack lets you set quick laps on a track in an attempt to perfect your racing times. Sega Rally 2 also features a 10-year Championship Mode, with each year bringing a different selection of courses, weather conditions and time of day. If you manage to come first in any year you will be rewarded with a bonus car… so get started.

Extreme Biker
Similar to Excitebike, Extreme Biker pits players against Edgar Torronteras, the daredevil rider who ignited the world of Motocross with stunts and tricks that seem to defy the laws of gravity. The tracks are at your mercy, so suck in the adrenaline rush of uninhibited biking and grab some extreme air. There are 20 environments, dozens of tricks, multiple camera angles, four modes of play and fully customisable bikes. Plenty to do, then...

Ford Racing
Ford racing is an enjoyable racing simulation game that has a nice feel. You begin by driving modest Ford Cars, such as the Ka, around small, twisty circuits. In later stages of the game, players can unlock other cars and tracks by taking part in season competitions.
