On what at first appeared to be your average day, Frogger soon discovered that all was not well in Firefly Swamp and that all kinds of crazy, impossible things were beginning to happen. He found doves flying out of his refrigerator, and, even worse, when he tried to use his remote control, it magically changed into flowers. A magician calling himself Hocus soon appeared, and explained to our green, slimy friend that a powerful object called the Eternity Wand had shattered into five pieces. Each piece had landed on a different island and was guarded by a creature that the shard has created. The solution to this horrendous dilemma? Frogger must embark on a quest to collect the five pieces of wand and he must do it before the uncontrolled magic does even greater harm. And what could be worse than your remote control turning into flowers? Heavens knows.
A top-down platformer, Frogger's Adventures 2 asks players to join Frogger on a perilous-yet-fun journey across five enchanted islands in his quest to put an end to the torment and suffering in his home town. As you may expect, each world is fraught with enemies, obstacles and challenges, as well as big bosses that must be defeated.
The main single player story mode features a total of 17 levels throughout the various different worlds, plus a number of bonus rooms and hidden features. A further Time Attack mode allows you go back to each level, following completion, and try to finish it in the fastest time. Most notable, however, is the game's set of multiplayer features. Up to four GBA's can be linked up, using either a Single Pak or Multi-Paks, allowing access to three multiplayer games: Race, Balloon and Reverse Tag.
