Summary

BattleBots: Beyond the Battlebox features 16 robots from the American answer to Robot Wars, and allows players to create their own killing machine through more than a thousand possible combinations of weapons, chassis types and drive trains. Having created the perfect BattleBot, players must then use their combat skills to the full in the battle arena.

Upon winning a tie, players are awarded cash, allowing them to upgrade their BattleBot with a range of weapons and special features, such as circular saws, hydraulic smashers and pulverisers. The GBA game takes BattleBots to a whole new level with real-life engineering restrictions lifted and battle arenas that are even more deadly than the real-life BattleBox.

The competition is ruthless and fast-paced and the rewards are plentiful, and up to four players can battle it out at once with the assistance of the GBA link cable.
