WRC Arcade delivers the authenticity and excitement of rally racing with the accessibility of an arcade driving game; it is certain to have young rally enthusiasts revving for more.
The game features 7 official WRC manufacturer cars including the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, the Hyundai Accent and the Subaru Impreza and features 14 official track locations from the 2002 WRC series, each in keeping with the features of their respective real-life locations. Race through the hazardous snow-filled tracks of Sweden or mud-splatter your windows as you battle through Welsh fog – whatever the location it’s fun factor ten!
There are five exciting, fun-packed game modes to play through with your friends. Put your nerve to the test in the Time Trial, where your aim is to get the fastest time on any of the featured tracks with any available vehicle! Vs Mode gives you the opportunity to humiliate your friends on a horizontal-split screen face off! In Super Special Mode, challenge 16 other vehicles through a series of consecutive tracks where the pressure increases as less time becomes available to complete each track as you progress.
Finally, in Grid Race, select any vehicle to race any of the unique tracks against three other competitors. The final goal is to cover the entire grid with gold by completing each track in first place with every official WRC car – each boasting unique handling and A.I. This mode lets you unlock bonus tracks and hidden game modes to keep you coming back for more and more. This is a mammoth task as to become the true rally champion you need to conquer 105 races with a gold medal.
