Summary

If you can find it, dust off your Game Boy Color and buy yourself a pair of fresh Duracells because there's a new cartridge in town. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, to be exact. Could this be the last ever game for Nintendo's ageing relic? We think it's quite possible. And what better way to celebrate such a triumphant gaming history than with everyone's favourite consumer icon and merchandise mogul Harry Potter.

Funnily enough, the game follows pretty much the plot of the book/film/T-shirt/breakfast cereal, as our young trainee wizard returns to Hogwarts for a second year of maths and magic. Ignoring Dobby the house-elf's grave warning that disaster will strike if he returns to the school, Harry soon finds himself entangled in a dark plot against his 'Mudblood' classmates, as students keep turning up petrified. Could Draco Malfoy be to blame, or is something even more malevolent at work?

This particular version appears in the form of a 2D, RPG-style, 'take-anywhere' adventure within the realms of Hogwarts. Featuring Quidditch matches, magical duels and other wizard-world mini-games, the game allows for multi-player magical encounters with the denizens of Hogwarts, and more collecting of Famous Witches and Wizard Cards.
