Summary

Squad and team-based FPS games are becoming as popular as a regular racers in the new millennium, and New World Order, like many others, is both a single-player and multi-player epic set in the future. Feudal Earth hasn't changed a bit.

The story takes place in the very near future in which gamers assume the role of a rookie protagonist and new member of the Global Assault Team, a commando squad created by international powers to take on a dangerous group of freelance terrorist factions better known as The Syndicate.

Your enemy is certain; a collective of bad guys that comprise of former Spetznaz, ex-KGB, corrupt CIA and deserted Special Forces. They are known as The Syndicate, making and breaking their own rules in an unruly game of life and death. They take hostages, sabotage and destroy vital installations to get the results they want, and earn big bucks.

Working for The GAT, a faction responsible for preventing such terrorist actions, you must put to use a heavy arsenal of state-of-the-art weapons and armour. Your weapons are varied and your strategy within each area of the game needs to be diverse to proceed. Leave no stone unturned and be sure to dispose of the enemy quickly.

In multi-player mode up to 64 players can play as either The Syndicate or the GAT on a LAN or via the Internet. The game supports the community with a level-editor, allowing gamers to create their own mods and skins in G-Max. New World Order isn't by any means revolutionary, but it's still great game, and comes highly recommended in its competitive genre.
