Table Soccer and Air Hockey - PC

Midas Interactive is well known for its budget re-releases of older, but no less popular titles. The latest is a PC double pack containing Table Soccer and Air Hockey.

Most of you will have played a few games of Table Football down at the local pub. But when, erm, the worse for wear shall we say, the game becomes difficult. Or is it your lack of co-ordination that's the problem? Well, if you’re eager to play a sober game of Table Football for free, this first half of the double pack should suffice. The premise of the game is simple, choose one of the two teams (red or blue) and get the ball into the opposing net to score a goal. The player with the most goals wins. It’s simple, but to this day, the game remains one of the most popular.

Air hockey, while similar in essence to Table Soccer (shoot an object into the opposition’s goal), offers an intense and equally challenging experience. Many players will tell you this is a game of reactions. It’s true. The puck is placed on a seemingly frictionless table and is capable of moving at a very fast pace without losing speed. All you have in your defence against the other player is a single plastic blocker. As usual, the aim of the game is to score the most points. Another simple game, but highly addictive.

So, simple, addictive game, plus simple addictive game. Double fantastic!
