Summary
The recent series of Hoyle tabletop games for PC has been enjoyed by many, so why not continue the trend? Now under the Vivendi name, but still developed in-house by Sierra, Hoyle Casino Games has been released, again for PC.
Casinos, notorious for their 'high-spend high-win' style, have often discouraged players from participating in the real thing, and rightly so. But Hoyle Casino lets the player experience an artificial casino experience without the risk of losing large amounts of hard-earned cash. The extensive range of Casino Games includes Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Slots, Craps and even Horse Racing.
While not as simple as many other tabletop games, Casino Games has a strong strategy elements. 'Do you know that he knows that you know?' And so on. But deciding whether or not to take a risk or fall back is what casino games are all about. As any casino member will tell you, you have to bet money to make money.
But players should be aware, regardless of the game you’re playing, the opposition will be unforgiving and at times frustrating. However, beating such challenging opponents is deeply satisfying.
If you don’t feel up to the challenge in single-player mode, you can always bring a friend in to participate in the fun.
