Summary

Just when we thought Buster was never going to get his own game, he’s finally appeared on Game Boy Advance, after numerous delays. It’s a good old cutsiefied version of the Sega classic Streets of Rage, but don’t let that discourage you. Buster’s having one hell of a dream and you have help him out.

Thanks to the nightmarish adventure the cunning Montana Max has forced upon Buster, you have been charged with task of defeating his myriad cohorts as you make your way from one dream world to the next.

The concept of the game allows for some stunning detailed and varied environments that are beyond your wildest imagination. Complete with excellent parallax scrolling and fluid animation, the GBA does a fine job.

Making the best use of a series of punches, kicks and special attacks, you must plough your way through this bizarre side-scrolling adventure, defeating the opponents that stand in your way. You’ll meet many of the Tiny Toons cast as you progress, including Babs, Pluck and Dizzy, as you strive to save your sarcastic sidekicks from an eternal nightmare and put Montana Max back in his cage.

We like Tiny Toons, despite its infantile humour, and it’s nice to play a pseudo beat-em-up that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Enjoy.
