Summary

Whenever a new platform is released, developers fall over themselves to fill the genres with every kind of game possible. For all of the wrestling fans out there BAM entertainment is proud to launch Fire Pro Wrestling for the Game Boy Advance. The action of professional wrestling is now portable.

Fire Pro Wrestling is a comprehensive title, it features more than 150 wrestlers from the outset and you can even create and save your own character. You can change everything from your characters appearance to their moves and style.

Fire Pro Wrestling has six different game modes to entertain you as you pass the hours. You can take part in an exhibition or choose to be in a tournament or league. Alternatively, there are elimination matches, survival fights and audience matches. The audience matches are an original twist, you must win audience approval by fighting in a certain style.

If you think you’re hard enough you can take part in a no-holds barred, steel cage match. Take it from us, being rammed into a steel fence really hurts.

If you have three Game Boy Advance owning friends, you can all link your portable consoles together for a four-player match. This is one of Fire Pro’s best features, especially when you decide to team-up on one poor unsuspecting soul.

With over 1,200 different techniques to discover and perfect there is a wealth of gameplay here to entertain you. You’ll have to be good if you want to unlock the super-hard secret characters, but if you take the time to learn the game you’ll find a decent, portable wrestling simulation here.
