Summary
Classic TV series, Scooby Doo has held a place in the hearts of both children and adults alike throughout the whole of the its long-running history. With a new film on the horizon, the funniest dog in history is at the height of his career. Not doing things by half, a PC adventure is set to take the interactive world into a fantasy mystery of its own.
Out on another one of those long drives in the Mystery Machine, Scooby and the gang breakdown before stumbling across a seemingly abandoned theme park. After speaking to the owners it is revealed that an unfriendly phantom is plummeting the popularity of the park. Unable to resist a mystery, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, Fred and Scooby investigate. Taking control of the gang, your task is to identify all suspects, collect all clues, calm Scooby’s appetite with Scooby snacks and trap the phantom. Suspects range from park rangers to bank managers to comical clowns; the challenge is indeed complex. In this point and click adventure, you will need to search all active locations in the park to progress. Taking place at night, there are nine areas to search, but you must be careful not to get caught by the masked phantom.
The lush environments have been animated in such a way that they are familiar to the cartoon, a nice touch. The whole cast is present in this light-hearted tale of terror and comedy. It is a game targeted towards the younger audience, but veterans of the old style TV series will fall in love with this one.
