Summary
3D Frog Man is a fun and simple family orientated game. It borrows elements from the extremely popular classic arcade game Pac Man and improves on them. The two most important improvements are the ability to jump and the transition into 3D maze environments.
3D Frog Man is a very hungry little frog. In order to finish a level you must clear it of all of the food and insects. In each level there are four ghosts that roam around, it is important that you avoid these ghosts or you will lose a life. Luckily, there are power pellets hanging about that allow you to eat the ghosts for a certain amount of time.
To make the game more interesting, there are several gameplay improvements. There are glue tiles that stop you from being able to jump out of dangers way. Watch out for the death tiles that will kill you if you land on them. There are also jump tiles that bounce you uncontrollable through the air. Red Arrows and Yellow Arrows change the speed in which you are travelling through the maze. Finally, on the later levels you will come across certain sections of the maze that are blocked off. You must find the colour-coded key to access these areas to complete the level.
3D Frog Man will only take seconds to learn but if you like games that are simplistic, yet enjoyable, then you will most likely find pleasure in this title.
