Traditionally, Lego began its journey in the toy store constructing tiny little plastic bricks that would stick together. However, the technological age is upon us, and Lego have now turned to the world of interactive entertainment. Among the released of video game software is the brand new racer, Lego Stunt Rally. Keeping with the theme of Lego, Lego stunt Rally is placed in the world that is Legoland.
Three or four modes of play are available from the off set, including quick race and championship. Once you have chosen your driver and racetrack, it will be immediately apparent that the world of Lego is exactly what it is; a world full of bricks. Anyway, within this world you will come across some weird and wonderfully designed tracks that take place in four different locations, ranging from the Arctic to the urban districts of Legoland. Many tracks involve brick-breaking loops, fan assisted jumps, and some wild competition from the other drivers. Whats more, a track editor gives you the capability to edit and create your very own tracks. Track parts must be unlocked in the proper game if you desire some truly death-defying monstrosities to race around.
While Lego Stunt Rally is still a video game in the racing genre, you still get the feeling you got when you were connecting little plastic bricks at the age of five. A welcome memory.
