Summary

Puzzle fans, we have a new contender for the throne. Coming from industry veterans Namco is Mr Driller, a cutesy little puzzle game. Puzzle games can be very addictive, so be warned, this game could cause you many sleepless nights.

The story in Mr Driller involves something very strange happening to the city of Downtown. One day, without warning, huge blocks began descending on the city completely covering it. The townspeople decided they desperately needed a professional driller to remove the blocks to free the city and solve this mystery. Enter Mr Driller.

The gameplay in Mr Driller is simple and it will only take a couple of attempts to get the hang of it. Mr Driller can drill in four different directions but down is the recommended way to go. When you reach a certain depth you progress to the next level. If you make it all the way to the bottom you might unravel the mystery of the city. There are two problems that Mr. Driller faces when drilling: air supply and falling blocks. The air that Mr Driller carries is of a limited supply and it is imperative that you pick up additional capsules to replenish it. Blocks also fall on Mr Driller and are only temporally stopped when they meet similar coloured blocks. Luckily, several of the same colour blocks disappear at the same time and combinations can occur.

Mr Driller is a simple, addictive and fun puzzle game ideal for a quick blast.
