Summary

Management simulators are usually based upon the major industries of today’s world, such as construction and transport. Rarely, if ever, does a game touch upon food management. Giving its theme away in the title, Pizza Connection 2 is based around the Italian food of pizza. But how does it compare to other sims?

First and foremost, Pizza Connection 2 is innovative and original, if nothing else. You begin your challenge in a city that is populated with politicians, tourists, thugs, and other urban stereotypes. Building your pizza empire from scratch, you must purchase strategically placed buildings that are financially viable. From there on in, you will be responsible for creating a menu that is as appetising as any Italian restaurant in existence. Before you construct your new-found menu, you need to take into consideration the people that inhabit your surroundings. The only way you will be able to satisfy everyone’s hunger is to create a wide range menu that consists of many varieties of pizza. You can choose from both standard products such as mushrooms and pepperoni, or you can use slightly more exotic foods, such as ants and even snakes. But you must also give heavy thought to cost effectiveness. If your pizzas are too expensive, people wont even enter your restaurant, but if you charge too little you run the risk of becoming bankrupt, ending your game in the process.

If pizza is your favourite food and your are mathematically stable, then you can’t go far wrong with Pizza Connection 2.
