Flight games have been considered a little too serious, and perhaps even a little boring by many anti-flight simulator fans. Maybe this was due to their serious nature and surrounding environments, who can say? But when you start to involve little aeroplane models flying around the kitchen it will soon become apparent just how much fun flying can be. In an attempt to demonstrate this, EON Digital Entertainment bring to you, Airfix Dogfighter.
Similar to Toy Commander on Sega Dreamcast, Airfixs visuals are made to be quite simple, yet surprisingly nice to look at. There are a number of very familiar environments to fly around in, including your very own bedroom. You must take control of a variety of aircraft within these scenarios, and do your best to fulfil the requirements given to you in campaign mode. To make your aeroplane a little more customisable, Airfix is included with a small art package, whereby you can design your own stickers and labels to place anywhere you like on the craft.
With all the aforementioned features, Airfix Dogfighter should prove to be a blast for model maniacs.
