Summary

Point-and-click strategy games have a reputation for being sometimes too strategic, and even a little boring amongst a percentage of the game-playing public. Stupid Invaders successfully attempts to reinvent the point-and-click genre with a fun, humorous, and sometimes hilarious attitude. After crashing down to Planet Earth, you and your alien friends must go on an adventure to escape from the evil forces that are waiting to destroy you. Ubi Soft will soon have a reputation for their vivid sense of humour, just as soon as players realise what it is they are getting themselves into.

As an exploratory game, Stupid Invaders consists of hundreds of pre-rendered comical backgrounds, setting the environment for the game. You must guide your little orange friend through the various locations across the planet that is Earth, and meet a number of strange beings, otherwise known as humans. Progression isn’t made simply through telling your character where to go; you must use the objects and props lying around and make use of them to overcome the obstacles that await you.

Stupid Invaders is indeed, a stupid game, but it’s also quite a lot of fun to play, and that’s what counts.
