Summary
Gunship! Is a modern day action simulation which allows you to fly the AH-64D Apache (US Forces), the WAH-64D Westland Apache (UK Forces), the Eurocopter Tiger (German Forces) and Mi-28 Havoc (Russian Forces). It is specifically designed to make it easy to pick up and play, while maintaining the immersive world of it’s predecessors. Gunship! Breaks the simulation mould, allowing the player to determine the way they want to play the game. From instant action to full campaigns, from action to simulation flight modes, or even a more forgiving damage system, it is up to the player to decide how they enjoy playing the game.
Experience realistic combat scenarios in five campaign regions, and personalise the gameplay to suit your individual playing style with the unique adjustable ‘action/simulation’ blend. Whichever helicopter you decide to fly, you can alternate between different views, such as gunner’s cockpit or pilot position. There is also a detailed communications simulation upon which you can talk to other units and call for artillery and air support. Up to 8 players can join in, game options include head-to-head, co-operative and tandem multiplayer modes, all chock-full of weapons systems, authentic combat sounds, enemy threats and exquisitely designed rolling land and skyscapes.
