Summary

Star Trek: Conquest Online is a turn-based strategy game that challenges players to outwit opponents in an interstellar game of cat and mouse. This is a game of intelligence and quick thinking as you try to conquer a small part of the universe. You take the role of a ‘Q’, an all-powerful being who is determined to receive galactic recognition.

Because Conquest is an on-line game, it is never quite the same experience twice. It is a chance to join an on-line community that is dynamic and constantly evolving. A way of meeting people from all over the world that share a common interest. Just taking part in the chat room before the game can be extremely entertaining.

Players start out with a pre-determined set of pieces, constructed from a group of more than 150 characters, weapons and ships. Players have to use these pieces to gain control of planets in their quadrant. During each turn the player deploys a piece to try and gain a tactical advantage. The amount of moves available is dependent on the control points in the round. If you are able to trap your opponents ‘Q’ for a round, you win the game.

One of the best features of Conquest is the online ranking tournament, in which you battle to see who is the best ‘Q’ in the world. If you like strategic card games with Star Trek collectable pieces then check this out.
