Summary

Developed by Konami, Nightmare Creatures 2 is the long awaited follow up to its predecessor, Nightmare Creatures. NC2 is quite possibly one of the scariest titles around. In terms of sheer terror, Nightmare Creatures 2 is ranked alongside the very best of them, including the likes of Resident Evil from Capcom, and Silent Hill, again, from Konami. Gore levels are high, and the creatures themselves are repulsive. You have been warned.

Vital to any adventure is the control method. It may not be immediately obvious, but it will soon become apparent that the control system isn’t that dissimilar from that in the Tomb Raider series. The real difference in comparison to the Tomb Raider series is the combat mode. The sighting of guns is a rare one in NC2, and as such, most of the combat is approached face to face with sword-like weapons. You must use these weapons to increase both your offensive and defensive attributes, but also, to trigger the fatalities of your gruesome opposition.

After taking control of Wallace at the start of the game, you must travel through some of the darkest, eeriest environments ever seen in a video game. You will have to fight some of the most frightening foes imaginable to reach your final destination. Be sleepless.
