Summary
Hasbro’s Tycoon games have proved to be a hugely popular and successful moneymaking strategy series. Games range from the development of railways, to the construction and management of theme parks. New for 2000, Hasbro Interactive gives the gamers just what they want; a three games in one compilation of the tycoon series. The collection features three of the most popular tycoon games; namely, Transport Tycoon, Rollercoaster Tycoon and Railroad Tycoon 2.
Railroad Tycoon 2 features a whopping 18 scenarios, blended with stock market strategies and some nasty AI controlled barons. Rollercoaster Tycoon on the other hand is a more vibrant, happy game, but with equally as much strategy. Here, you get to design and construct your very own rollercoasters, increase research for new rides and attractions, and look after the financial situation of your theme park. Last but not least, comes Transport Tycoon. This heavy urban transport edition of the series has a vast range of vehicular transport, such as cars, trains and planes, all put together in a four-world environment.
Fans of the series will probably enjoy the collection very much, but also, if you haven’t had the opportunity to play the series, then this compilation is a bargain.
