Summary

Did you ever hear of a worm that could talk? No? Well this worm can do just about anything. He’s a hero, he has weapons, he can even fly, yes it’s earthworm Jim. He’s new for Nintendo 64 in this latest 3D instalment.

Playing earthworm Jim isn’t as tricky as you would imagine. Because of his bionic suit, Jim has the capability to walk, making his adventure a lot easier to handle. And while he only has a small ray gun, he can roll jump and fly, just like any other bionic worm can.

Similar to Super Mario 64, you will travel through many a 3D world trying to complete the tasks set out before you. Within in these worlds, there is a distinct sense of progression, whereby, you must fulfil a task in one room before you can move to the next. While diminishing any exploratory value to this title, it also increases Earthworm Jim’s difficulty.

I’m sure fans of the cartoon series will appreciate this title, and maybe those of you not familiar with the worm will enjoy this too.
