Summary

In South Park Rally, gamers race through multiple tracks including downtown South Park and South Park Forest. Players have a choice of over a dozen characters to choose from, each with a vehicle to match their individual personalities. Cartman screeches through town in a 4x4 SUV while Chef joyrides in his old wood-panelled station wagon of lurve. As Grandpa suicidally careens the hills in his jet-propelled wheelchair, Officer Barbrady looks for action in the South Park Police Cruiser, and Stan borrows his father's mid-life crisis hot-rod. The South Park characters also have demented gadgets to thwart their competitors including the Mexican Staring Frog and Stan's sexually-confused dog, Sparky.

Stone, Parker, and the voice cast of South Park have produced dozens of original one-liners specifically for the game. Indeed, some of the comments spewing forth from the characters' mouths can be deemed as x-rated, so don't say you haven't been warned. If you are a fan of the television show, you'll know just what to expect. It seems that no character has been excluded from South Park Rally, reminding the player that this phenomenally successful franchise is not just about (or should that be 'aboot'?) those four foul-mouthed eight year olds.

South Park Rally pootles along at a somewhat sedate pace, so thrills and spills are at a premium, but it looks great, it's a genuine challenge, especially in Championship mode, and by golly, it's funny.
