Summary

Walt Disney’s classic hero adventure, Hercules, finally makes its way onto PlayStation. Now you can take part in this muscle mad freak show in your defence against Hades, as Hercules, son of Zeus.

While strictly a 2D title, there is an element of 3D design in the game's back drops. All characters and animation have been presented Disney stylee, while your surroundings allow you to move in and out of the screen. This standard platformer has simple hero type moves, whereby you can jump, punch and shoot lightening out of your sword. Well, maybe it’s not that standard.

Before you can take part in the adventure, you must complete an extensive training course, which will give you an idea of Hercules’ capabilities, both as a god and as a mortal human. After training you will uncover what is a very annoying, but at the same time, a very forgiving game. Patience may well come in handy here. Hercules’ forgiving nature is just as well considering the targeted audience. This hunky title will be enjoyed by anyone with parents younger than thirty.
