Summary

Gyruss, similar to the well known Space Invaders is a shooter where you revolve around the centre of the screen shooting enemies in the center. It was created by the all famous Konami way back in 1983 where it was released in the arcade and then followed by the Colecovision.

The whole points of the game is to travel throught space to reach earth. The other planets that have you travel to before Earth are Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars. While travelling you have to blast enemies which get in your way to recieve high amounts of points, recieve special weapons like firing two lasers and of course to make the game easier. The enemies come in waves so if you can defeat them all you achieve bonus points. After reaching each planet, there is a bonus challenge level where you can get 10000 points if you hit all the enemies!!
