Summary

The second in Climax's trilogy of Grand Theft Auto meets Driver racing adventures, Runabout 2 has players racing around a crime-ridden city collecting and delivering valuable packages within certain time constraints for hard cash.

You drive around in any one of 30 tailored hot rods in 13 extensive missions. Your objective in each mission is paramount. Safe driving and the wellbeing of nearby pedestrians is not your concern and you'll quickly learn this when you have to travel great distances in seemingly impossible time frames.

Visually, Runabout 2 isn't a poor-looking game compared with other PlayStation games on the market. It looks solid enough, and while there are a few glitches, it doesn't detract from the fast-paced gameplay.

PlayStation gamers who like their driving games are going to enjoy Runabout, and quite rightly so. It's good, not-so-clean fun.
